D-1 BRYAN,HARRY E  457 RIVER ROAD OAK HILL FL 32759
O-1 TREEN,JULIA E  529 JUNIPER DRIVE EDGEWATER FL 32141

D-1 was operating a self-propelled motor vehicle in the opposite direction of travel, nearly causing a head-on collision with Deputy Bello. Upon activation of Deputy Bello’s emergency lights and siren, D-1 continued to travel northbound on S. Ridgewood Avenue for several seconds before cutting across a grassy shoulder of the road. D-1 then continued traveling northbound on the sidewalk for several more seconds before finally coming to a stop. During the stop D-1 was uncooperative and resisted Deputy Bello. Deputy Bello attempted to secure Bryan in handcuffs for the purpose of officer safety which met with resistance. D-1 disobeyed commands to put his hands behind his back, pulled his arms away, and even attempted to grab Deputy Bello’s leg. Based on the aforementioned sequence of events, Deputy Bello determined there was sufficient probable cause to support an arrest for Fleeing/Eluding and Resisting Arrest with Violence. D-1 complained of chest pain during the traffic stop was transported to Florida Hospital N.S.B. D-1 was medically cleared and then transported to V.C.B.J.
