Deputy Wooleyhan was dispatched to 236 N I-95, Oak Hill reference an assist request from Brevard County Sheriff’s Office. VCSO central dispatch advised BCSO had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle related to a missing endangered female, and a missing endangered child within Volusia County’s jurisdictional boundaries.
Upon arrival, Deputy Wooleyhan made contact with Sergeant Buggs (BCSO) who stated they had received information a blue Chevy Cruze was traveling northbound on I-95 close to the Volusia County line. The vehicle was occupied by (V1), and (O1). Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office had entered both subjects into FCIC/NCIC as missing endangered.
Contact was made with PBCSO who stated (V1) left a note prior to leaving her residence on this date which was suicidal/homicidal in nature. Deputies determined V-1 fit the B/A criteria and placed her into protective custody.
O-1 was taken to the district office, fed and cared for. Contact was then made with DCF and O-2, V-1’s sister from Palm Beach.
DCF responded to the district office and cleared the child. O-2 responded to the district office from Palm Beach and took custody of O-1. V-1’s vehicle was towed to universal towing. Case closed.
