injunction and a trespass warning – 6 9 18

The Port Orange police department responded to my questions. The following is reproduced here for information for all: — hank

1.) An injunction and a trespass warning are very different things… An injunction (more commonly known as a restraining order) is a court order for protection and based on what are believed to be/proven to be legitimate safety concerns. A trespass warning is much lower on the spectrum and really any property owner/manager can request for us to issue a TPW for whatever reason they wish with no evidence of anything needed.
2.) For an injunction, there would be an incident report or most likely, an arrest report. For the TPW, it’s a simple electronic form.
